Glow Therapeutics develops evidence-based light therapy devices for people living with dementia and their caregivers. Our flagship product, Harmoni, uses precisely calibrated wavelengths of light (470-480nm blue and 630nm red) to address the underlying circadian dysfunction that causes sundowning, the daily pattern of evening agitation, confusion, anxiety, and restlessness that affects around 66% of people with dementia. Rather than masking these symptoms, Harmoni works at the biological root by re-entraining the body's internal clock to restore calm, improve sleep, and reduce distress during the hardest hours of the day.
Harmoni is designed for families and professional caregivers supporting a loved one with Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, Lewy body dementia, or any other form of cognitive decline. If you spend your evenings managing agitation, confusion, or sleeplessness, Harmoni is built with you and your loved one in mind. Our device is intentionally simple to use — no technical expertise required — and integrates gently into the home environment so that daily treatment feels natural, not clinical.
Glow Therapeutics was founded by a team of researchers, engineers, and caregivers who have personally witnessed the devastation sundowning brings to families. Our backgrounds span neuroscience, clinical care, product engineering, and dementia advocacy. We are guided by two equal principles: rigorous scientific evidence and deep human empathy. Every decision we make — from device design to the studies we fund — is shaped by the real experiences of families navigating dementia care every day. Through the Glow Future Fund, we also reinvest a portion of our profits into dementia charities, carer training, and research — because we believe our mission extends well beyond our product.
